Thoughts

I first met mark 20 years ago living close to the family, and watching the performances by his brothers back when they performed as RevGen. My most striking memory was that first time I met the most happy, loving vibrant man and the person with the biggest smile I had ever seen. That day he made me understand my calling and purpose, He truly was my inspiration to venture onto the career I still do now supporting adults with learning disabilities and Down syndrome to live life to the full. I talk about him when I train new staff, and that’s because the impact of his first impression on me. Nothing is impossible, he proved nothing should hold you back, god sent him to his wonderful family for a reason the love they have for him was the most heart warming to see. God has called you back little lamb, forever in my thoughts sweetie.

It was a truly beautiful service in tribute to Mark. What a heart of love he had amongst us! So glad to be able to online to be with you, while sad to not be able to be among you on this day. The thought of all of you is love - always!

I have known Mark all his life and remember him so fondly. He always had such a strong and loving presence. He would always be at family gatherings such as weddings and parties with a huge happy smile on his face. And would chat to everyone. Mark was born into the most perfect family for him. He grew up surrounded by so much love and support from very special parents and siblings. Paul and Yiannoulla were so loving and caring to all their children. Since emigrating to Australia I have not had much opportunity to see my cousins but I so wish I could be there today in person but I will certainly be thinking of him as he takes his final journey to be with his beloved sister Sophia in heaven. God bless you Mark you will be so missed.
Jenni, Paul’s cousin.
